It’s not how you start…(TCL 4th quarter edition)

October doesn’t just mean cool weather, it means cool Chamber events.  It means the fourth quarter has started and hopefully your year end goals are in reach.  The entire Chamber staff is busy trying to close out 2009 with a growing and happy membership.  We’ve also started building an exciting calendar for 2010.

We know holiday and end-of-year events are about to start filling up your calendar.  Don’t  give up all your free time just yet.  Save time for these upcoming Chamber events:

October 19-24 – Paint the Town Purple Week – Events include a 10/23 Pep Rally at UCA.  It’s at 6am!!!  Fun.  Seriously, don’t go to bed and come.  It will be live on KATV.  Homecoming game 10/24 at 6:oo (PM thank goodness) against the booger eaters of Nicholls State.

November 5th – CEO Luncheon - Mark White – CEO, Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield - Brewer-Hegeman 11:30 Tickets are $25. RSVP to Cecilia at 501.327.7788 by Oct 30th

November 11th – AR State Chamber “Door to Door” – 11:00-1:00 – Come learn about the State Chamber’s legislative action on all things business related.  Its a great opportunity to learn about the impact on business large and small of a broad range of proposed legislation.  Plus…free lunch!  Caution, this is not a town hall.  Shouters will have their lunch taken away.

Mid-November will also mark the launch of a community wide visioning process.  It’s gonna be a lot of work, but definitely worth it.
