Even as a little girl ChamberKathy got excited about CEO Luncheons.

We typically only do 3 or so CEO luncheons each year.  So we try to make them worth your time (and your $25!) Take for instance this year’s series, sponsored by Nabholz.  It features a who’s who of Arkansas business leaders.  Our last CEO luncheon brought new Acxiom CEO John Meyer.  Great event. Great crowd. 

Our next CEO luncheon will be Thursday, Nov 5th. Our speaker will be Mark White, President and CEO of Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield.  Mr. White has been President and CEO since January of 2008.  Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield is the largest health insurer in Arkansas, serving approximately one-third of the fully insured market. Arkansas Blue Cross and its affiliates have more than 2,550 employees.

Mr. White is going to speak about Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield and the changing landscape of healthcare.  I can’t think of a more timely speaker or anyone more qualified.  This really is a marquee event.  Tickets are $25.  The event is at Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center from 11:30-1:00. Our third and final CEO Luncheon for 2009 will be December 16th at Brewer-Hegeman where we will hear from Steve Smith, President of the South Central Region of Verizon Wireless.
